2012, Layanan Telekomunikasi 4G Siap Hadir di Indonesia

foto berita artikel Akhirnya, Indonesia berencana untuk membuat bisnis komersial layanan LTE (Long Term Evolution) atau 4G di tahun 2012 mendatang. Menurut Menkominfo, seperti yang dilansir dari kantor berita Antara, dibutuhkan waktu lama untuk banyak riset dan penelitian untuk menentukan apakah sebuah layanan teknologi dapat diadopsi atau tidak.

LTE sendiri adalah suatu teknologi radio yang mampu menawarkan kapasitas dan kualitas kecepatan data hingga 172 Mbps. Ujicoba penggunaan teknologi LTE ini digelar oleh Telkomsel, setelah dioperasikannya mobile broadband berbasis dual carrier HSPA+. Untuk tahap awalnya, Telkomsel akan bekerja sama dengan vendor penyedia jaringan mobile phone, seperti Huawei, Ericsson, dan Nokia Siemens Network. (muhistkj.blogspot.com)
